Savings- palooza!

So excited to be taking a trip to a Disney destination- but also a little nervous about the cost?   You want to be able to go on your dream trip, come home with fun souvenirs AND not break the bank.  Here are a few ways that you can save ahead of time AND while you are on vacation. 

Option #1:  Coupon sites

​You can start your savings journey by signing up for online coupon sites, or even download mobile apps.  There are so many sites that you can register with and save money just by shopping for your everyday items.  How much you save at each one would depend on your individual shopping styles.  Over time you will be able to be able to accumulate funds towards your dream vacation!

Option #2:  Disney Gift Cards

​​You probably have credit cards already in your wallet that unbeknownst to you could add up to Disney savings!  You can use your existing credit cards to buy Disney gift cards.  Each time you make a payment towards your vacation balance – you can plug in the gift card number --- the same as you would a credit card. 
 
If you have multiple gift cards that you would like to use at one time – be sure to visit Disneygiftcard.com, where you can load all your cards onto one.  

​Target “Red Card” 
Each time you visit your friendly neighborhood Target – take minute and add a Disney gift card to your purchase.  By using your Red Card – you save a percentage off your purchase – decreasing the price of each gift card.  REMEMBER:  If you want to buy large amounts of gift cards – order them online and ahead of time!!!  If you try to purchase too many at one time while you are actually at Target, your Red Card could freeze.
 
Costco and Sam’s Club
Time to stock up on family groceries!!  These are a couple more places to pick up those Disney gift cards!  Both of these organizations have discounts on Disney gift cards, as well.  However, these are often seasonal – so start checking early!!!
 
American Express
If you have an AmEx card – you know that you get a percentage back at grocery stores, so you can purchase Disney Gift cards AND still get your gas points!

Option #3:  Disney Visa Card

Think about signing up for a Disney Visa card.  Each time you use your card, you accumulate Disney “Rewards points”.  Before you leave for your trip, load your points onto a “Rewards card”; your Rewards card can then be used like cash, at select locations, while you’re on your Disney vacation.  Additionally,  your Disney Visa card has discounts in qualifying restaurants, stores, spa services and tours.  Don’t forget to ask at every register to see if a Disney Visa discount applies! 

Option #4:  Ears of Experience's Price Watch Service!

Book your vacation through Ears of Experience and you have access to our "Price Watch" service.  Disney has a variety of promotions available and I can help identify which will be the best option to save you the most money.  Whether it is a military discount, new ticket type, or room discount - you never know when new options will be announced.  Because Disney is constantly updating their promotions, Ears of Experience has their "Ear" to the ground!  Even if a new promotion comes out after you book, I will check to see if your reservation is eligible to try and save you money!
